The BLT Sport Touch is the innovative integrated live production suite consisting of a BLT video server SMS-U series, a RUS Color control panel and the new RUS Tab. This solution provides a new production workflow used by applications such as sports slowmotion, clip contribution, on-the-fly highlights creation, DVE zoom and telestrator.
The RUS Tab is a touch screen tablet style control panel that provides the replay operator with an auxiliary second screen for live control of video server material with integrated tools without rendering to an external workstation.
RUS Color is optimized for professional users to provide a fast and efficient interface required for live sports applications: clip marking, sequences, playlists, highlights, multicamera, networking to share raw material, clips, etc.
The BLT SMS-U and SMS-AV video servers series is compact and can manage up to 12 channels, featuring simultaneous loop recording while playback, with full HDTV/ UHDTV capability, stereoscopic recording for S3DTV and networking for material exchange.
The Rus Color Plus panel was offers a new way of working with the aim of optimizing costs with the most efficient management of both hardware and human resources. Limiting the costly travel of personnel and making hardware available for consecutive production without long downtime. Its salient feature is the connectivity through traditional network without particularly high bandwidth requirements. A RUS Color Plus becomes an autonomous single point of interaction for the operator.
The Remote Unit System is specifically optimized for the professional end-user to provide the fast and efficient interface necessary for live sports applications: clip mark and management, sequences, playlists, highlights, multicamera, networking to share clip datas and more over. It is designed to unleash the advanced capabilities of BLT video server, while keeping it’s user friendly operating characteristics.
All video archives are revisable; just define a new clip, start a live reproduction, trigger play and forward speed, effect like slow motion, play frame by frame video, and stop reproduction exactly on the frame requested to comment on the spot public and guests in the studio.
The director may freely walk along the studio floor with his tablet and ask anybody to personally insert graphical materials as normally possible on any tablet, just with one touch. It is also possible to effect a pinch-to-zoom to instantaneously determine the equivalent effect on the live material aired. For example, RUS Tab plays on the screen the result of the action performed, so that any further comment is based on a previous action, while all live airing is totally devoted to the video server which can also effect a full HD image fluid zoom.
All is achieved in full speed and quality, and no external rendering stations are necessary. Simple and effective, the interface can also be used in offline mode, so any operator is free to perform other functions in complex working environments, such as OB Vans.
