The Remote Unit System is specifically optimized for the professional end-user to provide the fast and efficient interface necessary for live sport applications: clip mark and management, sequences, playlists, highlights, multicamera, networking to share clip datas and more over. It is designed to unleash the advanced capabilities of BLT video server, while keeping it’s user friendly operating characteristics.

Server's storage
The storage capacity of the SMS 4U is based on an SSD array of eight 2,5 inches SATA disks, internal and removables. Disks are managed in RAID 5: the scattering of the parity information makes all disk equal Parity information scattered on all disks,allow the reconstruction of one faulty disk whatever it is. The operating system can be mirrored on the RAID storage and work in case of OS disk fault. (This is a user configurable option)
File Ingest- Import/Export

A powerful internal gateway allows you to import content from any network source or USB interface using all high-quality codecs. It is done upscale or downscale where required. Multi target operations in real time without the aid of external controllers but only using the software included in the server’s interface
Networking
BLT provide a rich network connectivity over 1 Gbps and 10Gbps as well as Optical 10Gbps SFP+. All ports are double and can work in teaming or main and backup redundancy.
Remote Production
Thanks to the control of our servers over IP and the operation of all our software over all traditional networks, you allow us to apply any type of remote production.
Productions where all the signals are brought to the broadcast center but the operators may not be present for reasons of space or other causes (COVID etc)
REMOTE models where operators are present in the broadcast center controlling servers still existing/installed on a truck
REMOTE models where operators are not present in the broadcast center but they are controlling servers still existing/installed on a truck from home (or any other location)
